WATTS of aftermarket indicators and parkers
Are these units ADR approved, not a huge deal I know as indicators would be the last of my concerns legallity wise but in accordance with ADR's when you loss an indicator there must be an audiable or visual alarm to the driver. This is done by increasing the flash rate. If the units have a diode tester inbuilt this is possible.
been there and done it and yes they will flash fast and if using LED's will probably flash ultra fast or stay on as generally LED's have even less load depending on the number of diodes. You change the relay unit but the easiest fix (what I've done with my LED's on the rear) is go to Jaycar or similar and get an inline resistor. Just explain what its for and they should have a good idea of size needed to make it about right again. I think mine is about 18 ohms (think thats right) and is pretty much right for my size light. You then wire one end to the negative and the other end to the positive from the indicator.

ive got the same as pat does on otis.
i changed my bulbs to slighter higher wattage(10w) and they only flash a bit faster now, alternativly, you can change the flasher unit, which is located just about the fuse box in the drives footwell, just take it in and change it for a non load sensitive one.

Just a side note on the legality side, those are marker lights or auxiliary indicator, not ADR approved as replacements for the ones outta your bumper.
Quick trick for the park light is semisealed beams with seperate park light lamb built in, hella and narva do em.

Bugger, gotta admit i got away with it for a coupla years in NW Qld....
have been contemplating viability of front clip swap with coily model, hence getting indicators up in body off bar too.
Course hella LEDs are a mean replacement to, just expensive to break!
