Drum brake hubs usually $55 second hand each
Disc brake hubs usually $85 second hand each
Disc brake hubs new $165 each (from memory)
wheel bearing kits new usually about $60 for one side
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!

thanks tooheys

can get wheel bearing pair for $80
when the bearing failed in I think it somehow caused the drum brakes to lock in and now the hub is buggered too. was thinking of replacing hubs as retiring the middy from hard 4wding in favour of more family friendly 80 series. tassie mud seems to kill the bearings

will try to source a second hand drum if i can, will get me mobile quicker and cheaper. do both drums need to be same thickness or will the adjuster make up for this?

Thanks
Lance
