I have a bj73 that i cooked the motor in on the weekend. the head is cracked and possibly the injectors are damaged to.I am having alot of trouble tracking down something to pput in. at a reasonable price in sydney. so far the onl motor avaible is a 14b which is going to cost $5500 which i dont have. if any one has any sujjestions they would be appriciated greatly.

Put up a wanted advertisment in the site, check a few other sites. Let the fingers do the walking for engine repair workshops or source a new head. Consider a cheapish conversion like a V6, might end up close to same cost though.

your bj73 will hold these motors...3b, 13bt, 2h, 12ht, 1hz, 1hdt, 1hdft, 1hdfte....not to mention the 14bt....and then there is the bundy diesel motors...and the prado...
Look on ebay or even on pickles.com for a damaged cruiser to buy....pay 4k and get a whole show to use bits from.
