need help with seats in 94 hilux

Post by Yumsylux »

Hi there.
I was wondering if anyone can help me. I've bought some front seats off a 96 surf which i was told by a wrecker would bolt straight into a 94 hilux dual cab. Well they dont. Has anyone ever fitted one of these seats into theirs? The brackets at the front dont mount up with the bolt holes. I have to remove the seat belt bolt to fit the rear brackets on that's fine, but the front ones line up striaght but sit too high away from the bolt holes. Can anyone please help here? I have also thought of drilling out the factory bolts which hold the rail to the bracket and then putting new bolts to mount my old brackets on. Will that work? What has anyone else done? Any help at all will be much much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Prob will but might pay to talk to someone that does mod plates they can give you a straight answer i know if you re drill or drill new holes in the floor they have to have 75x75mm plate underneath (unsure if thickness) so they won't pull through
plenty of parts on the bench
