Cheap stuffed GU's

Post by Shark »

Interested in doing a 6.5 chev conversion on a gu and i was wondering apart from the usual outlets where i would get one for under 10k in good nick with a stuffed motor??? And is the conversion still possible in the 2.8TD or do i have to get a 3l/4.2??

2.8 requires different box etc.. but apart from that perfect donor.

Sorry mate you misunderstood there is nothing wrong with the 2.8TD its just for me. Not powerful enough for towing thats all. And its easier to pick up a mcheaper one for conversions

As much as it pains me Toyota has it when it comes to eating up the K's in a Diesel.

Maybe Next year Nissan will answer the call....

Now if you could just get your hands on a cheap Toyota (lol) 4.2 and drop it in the GU!
