This look ok for fuel setup - MPFI + qs

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

Doing the fuel side of things now.

How does the below pic look for fuel setup.
Std tank - small carb filter - primer pump - vl fuel pump - efi filter - engine
Primer is mounted and doing vl one prob xmas or boxing day slightly higher than where it is now in pic. Hose is like that to primer pump to keep away from shocks and even bends.

Also can i use the large line coming back from charcol canister for a fuel return line and use the old return for canister?

Thanks

all i can tell u is that without a surge tank, my pulsar surges when it has less than 1/4 of a tank on high boost, and the set up is basicly identical to to that! so in the HIGH hp zook it shoiuld be apples

Kool, so all is good. i thought the mounting of primer pump may be a bit high but will see how it goes.

Can i use a small pipe for the return for the carbon canister?

on your diagram green return line should go back to surge tank because feeder pump unless same otput as vl pump wont supply enough fuel to surge tank,so unused fuel goes directly back to engine.
