GQ engine cutting out

Post by 4WD WOG »

hey guys, my 4.2 carbi gq is losing revs really quick and cutting out on me on idle, only in neutral tho (is manual) it only does this sometimes but then when i take it 4 a drive its fine again, its getting worse and worse and starting to do it every time i drive. when it cuts out and i try n drive it, it sometimes backfires and spits and splatters and runs like shit...

ive changed:
- coil
- rotor
- distributor cap
- plugs and leads r good
- carbi overhaul
- fuel filter
- intake manifold gasket
- points
- condensor (on distributor)

any suggestions?
