you have to , get mod plate, also have a modded 1.3 sump pan as the front dif will make dents. You would also be worth while to do a body lift or mod bonnet as motor comes close.

takes a weekend to drop out the old and put the new one in . make sure your in neutral when trying to line the damn thing up .

More than a weekend inc the wiring and all sorts. need new extractors, modded mounts and more little bits + fuel pump.

mech - a weekend is ok for getting it into the chassis and that, with adapter kit.

read my buildup to give u some ideas.

I will be starting soon, 1600 16V into 85 Drover
Just waiting on the container to arrive with the half cut
Probally be two weeks away
Mechanically it seems a sinch using BenT's Adaptor
Electrical is where the fun is, will try to make instructions as I go

Go a half cut, you get eveything for the engine upgrade
With a bit a tinkering the power steering fits
Slotted Disca and bigger caliper bolt straight on

In the mean time I will continue on the drawers for the back and start running new fuel lines, pumps, filters, surge tank etc and adapting the tank
Will start a thread soonish on the build up
