Think a lux is only a couple inches more than WT diffs as well, should not be much difference.

Also with a lux is the length also effects turning circle.

its got to do with wheelbase.. my old zook was still awsime (even better on wet road with welded rear if u know what i mean

As said above, its about the wheelbase. Hilux's are LONG, suzukis are short. So turning is fine.

SWB Vitara tank mounted between the rails of my old 1.0ltr soft top. Runs the full width of the chassis which means no more room for the exhaust out the back. Something to take into consideration.

I just got mud4b to mount a 75 lt hilux fuel tank in mine mind you its an 82 lwb tray back

According to the vit bible the swb vit tank is only 42 L .... This sounds like a world of hurt for 2 extra litres of fuel .. the lwb one is supposed to be 55L would this fit.

Is there any extra benfit of going to the swb tank like the filler hose is above the chasis rail??

If you are going 3/4 rear yes and it also keeps the filler higher up and away from the tyres.

I ran the filler hose up through the floor with the filler inside the rear top corner of the tub. The 1.0ltr tank had a few major dents, the Vit one didn't. It did however appear to be more than 2ltrs difference between 1.0ltr NT tank and Vit SWB tank. Could be wrong though.
