Have you done a spring-over on the trailer and put bigger tyres on it? That'll at least save a bit of grief with reduced departure angle from having a plough tounge hanging off the rear of you truck.

I would if I could, it was my first thought. (Any very easy)

The trailor takes to boats, it would be to hard to lift the second boat on at that height. The other thing is, this trailor will not ever see dirt.

Thanks for the Thought Cheers

Can't answer the question, but look before you buy. I have seen some really stupid "drop hitches" that could not be trusted to hold any serious weight or even survive heavy braking.
This is not legal advice.

i have been using one to tow a car trailer and it has bent over time

It maybe ok for light loads but i would not recomend it for high loads

For a big drop I use 2" solid, not RHS, to get the strength required, bring it out of the T/Bar 40mm and gusset down the back of the dropper for more weld area and support

I cant remember cause its been a while but I think the range rover tongue has quite a drop on it. Im pretty sure thats what I was using to tow my boat with a sprung over 40 series with 35s etc.

Ask your local trailer manufacturer. If in Sydney, try that tow shop on the Great Western Highway at the top of Pendle Hill in Western Sydney.
