5L-E 3Litre Hilux engine light wont go off

Sucked a little bit of water, but engine seems to be running fine, think the airflow sensor may have go a little wet, cleaned all the electrical contacts
light still on.

Can you self diognose with the diognostics plug, like on older efi motors
like count the flashes of the engine light tipe thing?

Dissconect battery for X time (think it is about 15 min) to clear the fault codes. If the light goes out if it don't

Yes you can, if you can find a repair manual for the 5L-E it will have most odes in it.
