do you think it sticks out to far from the diff ie. you reckon you will punch it into rocks and stuff. thats whats holding me back, my diff is fully braced and it cops heaps of abuse, i dont know if the x-link will handle the abuse.

damn it flexs good
cheers Pete.

Hey Chad i hope you guys are ready for this because i think your going to have some work to do now these pics are up.

On your rig it never came off as impressive because of all the other mods that went with it. But on this 80 even im impressed ;) Looks the goods. Its about time someone came up with a better answer than a POS 5 link that realy never worked in anything.

We are ready! hope to run a story soon in the 4x4 mags

consumer confidence was an issue because it has only been seen on my rig and as you say it was hard to see the forrest for the trees but the calls are comming in now. I'm glad to hear that it was hard to see the function of the XLink on my truck.Micks truck makes it easyer to see what it all about.

can you still use the x link if you have flipped the control arms to the top of the diff ?

as i have just done that and fitted the diffs to my bj 42 cruiser for a bit of diff clearance

Not taking away from your rig but dont use it as the selling point in the mags or here i really beleive. Use something just like the 80 pictured here. Its not over the top with mods and the general wheeler your trying to sell it have allready got something to compare it to. The Hard Core Comp guys that are still running radius arms are going to buy it(or build their own as usually happens) anyway if they have any comprehension on how its doing what it does.

There is no reason you couldnt as long as you still have the required clearences to fit it in. Its still going to work exactly the same.

i've followed threads about the x-link since they appeared. great idea and awesome results. i agree with ruff, a before and after pic of a cruiser/patrol with up to the 4" lift would get more punters interested, and hopefully more buyers for you. easier to comprehend what sort of result they will get on a less modified car

Thats awesome, I'd be interested to see pics of your 80 flexing before the x link was installed - providing front springs and shocks are the same it would give a good comparision.

I love the x link idea, good way to get around the binding of the front radius arms
