hmmm.. what i want to know is how is the auto RWD box made 4wd?
i skimmed through the thread and you know i can't find any details..
Custom made Jack shaft from output of auto to the standard Sierra/Sammy transfer case, though its in a custom position.. It is a LWB so plenty of room.
I have a million pix of the build, can't put em all up, but if asked for specific issues, I can put up some of them.

A quote from the thread ....I say he ran the SR AUTO RWD box

the original gearbox was an sr20 front section with an early 240-260z or skyline extention housing witch also needed machining to accpet the larger silvia bearings.love_mud wrote:From memory its a hybred (or that may have been the manual box he ran earlier .. not sure)A1 wrote:Santos wrote:

hope that helps a little

Not sure how it would go in the zook, but the SR20 gearbox's are known to be weak (I am talking circuit racing here) People upgrade them to a RB25 (R33 Skyline) Gearbox.
Could be worth considering for the conversion...not sure how hard 4x4 is on the gearbox?
Price wise, you are looking at around $400 for a SR20 box, and $1000+ for a RB25 box....
If you are chasing SRs and RBs look at
