Has anyone had anything to do with H2 bulbs? See the link for a pic of them. http://db.hella.com.au/cgi-bin/catalogu ... &flrecid=3I've been through about 6 globes since I've had my spotties. At first I thought I might gotten my finger prints on them because they are fiddly to install. But the last 3 definatly have not had any finger prints on them as I have gotten the intallation down to a tea now. Worst thing is Im lucky to get a run out of each bulb, average life seems to only be a matter of hours - if that . Can you throw a multimeter accross them and tell me what voltage they have when the car is running about 1500-2000 revs.
If the voltage is high it will reduce the life of the bulb, vibration can also affect these lamps, especally when they are really hot and the fillament is at it weakest.

Hookers are like bowling balls, You pick them up, put your fingers in them, then throw them in the gutter and they come back for more.
I had an XH falcon ute the would blow narve cool blue globes in a matter of weaks. Any other globe was fine. Used the same globes in different apllications and they've been great.

I know the first couple of bulbs broke due to rough installation. But turns out after some investigation that the holder wasnt clamping the bulbs tight enough so not getting the best electrical contact. A few stratigical bends and all is good
