Hey all,
I'm still having a problem with the front right caliper sticking on my 96 Sierra, is anyone clued up as far as these things go?
Ive replaced the entire caliper after unsuccessfully rebuilding the old one and it did seem better for a while (1 month)
Today the problem is back
It brakes well, doesn't pull to that side but the hub is hot after a run - it just doesn't seem to retract the pads properly.
Any ideas? Master cylinder?
Help would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Ash

Brake caliper still sticking ;p(
Possibly 3 reasons 1. wheel bearings to loose, causing disc to run crooked. 2. wheel nuts loose, allowing disc to run crooked 3. bent stub axle.
When looking from front do the wheels lean in at the top, also if the disc runs crooked this would make the pads wear on an angle so if you had loose bearings or loose wheel nuts on the original caliper and then changed it you might need to change your pads. This happened to a friend who had loose wheel nuts and he got about 10 kms out of the caliper and then it started to bind and eventually locked the wheel. Hope this helps,Paul.
