went out yesterday and nearly put mine on it's side and my mum has a HUGE PURPLE broise on her leg from the door handle!
I had half doors with the canvis windows and stuff but i went full doors. If any one is after them give us a yell would be cool if you wanted to chop then into the lower style half doors!

when I first got my Zook, I use to bang my right elbow on the window or door. Now I just steer with left hand and steady with my right.
Have any 6 footers tried mounting the seat further back ?

G'day all.
My 6'2" frame has been comfy in the Zook ever since I installed an old pair of real bucket seats (deep sides, non-reclining) 15 years ago, on custom fabricated mounts. The mounts are bolted to the original body locations but moved the driver's seat back about 10cms.
Reach to the steering wheel was taken care of by a SAAS wheel, smaller diameter than original and with a deeper 'dish' that puts it a smidgin closer to hand.
My longest non-stop drive (apart from fuel stops of course) is Mandurah to Shark Bay, just on 900 kliks, and we recently took it through a week of touring the Murchison goldfields, including the "back road"from Sandstone to Meekatharra - my knee never touches the winder and I don't finish a trip with my legs permenantly bent like a grasshopper!
I'm currently using the original steering wheel while I re-do the leather on the SAAS wheel, a bit more of a reach but no problem. If you're 6'and over, it's a good modification, easy too.
Cheers - Longbaser.
