Ok i just got a 3" mandrel bent exhaust put on my new triton. its from the cat back.. (the cat is bolted directly to the back of the turbo)
now it does go better but it makes no noise watsoever! it has a pissy lil straight thur muffler on it and its still quiet as!
so my question is, wil it hurt to get rid of the cat...
and dont give me all the crap about emmisons stuff as i dont wanna hear about it..

The next step in the thought process is typically to conclude that removing the restriction will allow the engine to breathe better, and thereby allow the engine to perform better.
This is the thought process I believed you were following, and your desire to remove the cat was fuelled by a desire for more performance.
However, you have just acknowledged that all you are interested in is creating more noise. Yep, I'm the idiot here.
