patorl dual batterys
patorl dual batterys
HI, I'm looking at getting two new batterys for my patrol. It has a dual battery setup and i was wanting to know what sizes i should get, any help would be appreciated. Running various accesories off the aux.
I've got an Exide N70 deep cycle battery as the aux battery. I've got a Waeco CF50 in the back which is always on. Seems fine, and I haven't been driving it much for a while now. My previous battery was the same, with the same fridge and ran for 3 1/2 years until it died. Don't think I can complain about that.
Just keep the plates covered with distilled water. (Well that's all I do anyway!)

I have put an Exide Orbital Glass Mat battery as my auxillary. It has cranking power and the ability to deep cycle.
Cost a bit more than normal batteries.Has been great so far.
My mate used an Exide ST620.Its cheaper than the Orbital. Also can deep cycle.Has been great too.
