hilux brake boster question

Post by chunderlicious »

converting my first gen lux to GQ coiled diffs front and rear so am doing the master and booster aswell, anyone used a commodore V8 master and booster? would it work?

discs front and rear, toyota V8 engine (not quad cam) starting brakes from scratch, so redoing lines doesnt bother me.

any help appreciated

Evan

Try 80 series as they were disc alround. Just got to grind out the large hole in firewall slightly. :? Bolt holes line up.

finally got round to fitting the V8 VN booster.. the only problem is that it is too long a throw on the booster. everything else is fine.

is there any way (hilux has 60mm studs with a spacer) that i can space it out as the commo studs are only 30 and id like to use the hilux spacer if possible.
