Im here for the sausage!
This is the problem, not the height.shakes wrote:you can also get pegged for obstructing the drivers view
I have proved the height of my roof lights legal....... in NSW anyway.

Try to keep at least one wheel on the ground at all times !!!!!! (unless you want to do a jump....... thats different)
In NSW, you cannot have any dangerous objects protuding from the bullbar... Driving lights are OK, but any brackets or fishing rod holders etc are Illegal.GRINCH wrote:your not allowed anything protuding from the outside of the bullbar, so yes they will be illegal, in qld any way but i think most states would be the same on this one
For safety reasons it is illegal to have:
*Any attachment or protrusion projecting forward of bull bar or bumper bar which presents a danger to other road users.
*Minor protrusions forward of the bull bar or bumper bar such as a spotlight, or fairleads required for the operation of a winch, where the mounting brackets do not protrude, are permitted providing the protrusion is the minimum necessary and is blunt or protected to minimise any risk of injury to vulnerable road users.
*Any bull bar or other attachment that does not allow the driver a view of the road and of the traffic to the front and side of the vehicle so that the driver can drive the vehicle safely.
Same here in QLD but a coppa mate told me that they have a hard time proving this if you contest it:HotFourOk wrote:In NSW, you cannot have any dangerous objects protuding from the bullbar...
