put the 35's on, cut the guards and be done with it. you need tyres anyway, the other bit will cost you nothing, and you can get out and play.

go on now, off you go. :D

32x11.5 32x10.5?

Funny, I'd call it sad!

31's were stock untill the EFI models with the bigger brakes and 16" rims, so any 32" tyre, being more than 15mm bigger than 31", need certification ROFL..
You'd be stoked if you got defected for 32's and had to pay an engineer to sign them off! They is some big rubber! :)

here we go again.......................

Of all the GQ's in my club (heaps), most have 35's or bigger, none are engineered for the tyres, and none have ever had any problems.

we have 3 shorties on 37's and mine is the only one that is engineered. everyone else just keeps getting away with renewing their rego.

peter man, you need to be schooled on some basics.

Hottiemonster to start with the bad attitude on you sucks. Also I see you say you have no money, yet look at your stereo in your sig line. Tell me that was free?

Wendle provides good advice to many people on here and goes out of his way to help, he is not required or bound, to help people with Nissan problems, yet he does so out of the goodness of his heart. If you have offended him so that he never posts Nissan tech again, then I am sure there will be a possy of nissan drivers on here armed with MQ hubs mounted on standard radius arms, and 35s with little engineers in them, hunting you down. Be wary! He is a popular man, and goes out of his way to help people, for free on here, so play nice.

THANKS DUDES.

funny, go away for a couple of days, and come back to see the lynch mob weilding radii arms and G60 cranks chasing a youyng man carrying a pioneer stereo.

HM, i apologise if I was getting a little cynical, but if you read through the last few pages yourself, you can see why your indecision is a little infuriating.
Put the tyres on, cut the guards, get it certified, drive the fawking thing.

but u got a long wheel base, and this is a shorty, there is a difference

The only difference is that the rear driveshaft is shorter. So there is a chance there could be a little driveline vibration.

If this does occur, simply get some OME packers and space down the gearbox crossmember a little. Problem solved. Otherwise put up with a little vibration (it generally only occurs around 40km/h), it won't cause any major damage.

Just keep in mind that there are hundreds of GQ SWB's with 3" or larger springs in Australia.

its good to know that it wont casue any major damage, a slight vibration wont bother me, but i big one will
