You reckon you're pissed off Boner......

Nobody took me up on my bet and I could use a drink about now. (Don't need an umbrella though, rain has stopped now!)

I appreciate you're just letting off steam and having a vent here but it won't help. I would wait until you san at least talk to him via the phone and have a real conversation, things tend to become more real then. I'd say if he hasn't posted here in a while he may either be away or something may have happened to cause him to not be able to post, he was always quite active. Keep ringing his work, you might be able to find something out.

Not sure if any of you have been part of a group buy from overseas before.

Shipping over xmas is just silly. Expecting it on time is insane. Actually getting what you asked for is a miracle!

Just pray customs don't quarantine your shit because something else in the container it is with has some grass clippings on it !!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully you all get what you asked for, group buys are great!

A note to whoever organizes this type of thing again, don't set expectations that are not realistic.

People buying in. Expect delays and bite your tongue until you have some evidence before you have a tantrum a two yr old.

Hopefully you all get what you asked for.

Personally I won't go in these unless I see the person I am giving my money to face to face and get a written receipt stating this is a deposit for X goods blah blah.

I can say that Bazooka has not logged on since the 12th of this month. I have sent him a PM asking for some answers here. He may not have logged on to avoid any contact here either. I have now made the Zook section Viewable by members only untill this issue has been sorted. So for him to see this thread he now has no choice but to log in.

But its all starting to smell like bullshit to me :bad-words: Even durring Chrismas it doesnt take this long. Especially now he is saying they only just left the US.

Have any of you guys contacted the manufacturer of these kits to see if they have even taken an order for these?

Yes it has been some time before I have posted. I have in all honesty not had much information to share. The xmas/new years break gave a complete holt to everything. I have been notified just last week that the kits have been sent. As both my mate in the ststes and I are doing this in our own time it is going to take longer to get results. The fact that I have had other people finding out that I was doing an order from the states, wanting to place their own orders for other (non related) parts has taken quite some time to organise. It has come to the point where I have had to just get the twin stick kits sent on their own as I cannot wait any longer to get the other parts together. This combined with the fact that I can only rely on my friend to do this in his own time (and he is doing a good job) has taken a lot longer than expected by all parties.
I can only in this instance appologise for the delay but can say with certainty that everyone that has placed an order will get what they have paid for.

I think I speak for most when I say that its not really the time it has taken for the parts to get here that concerns us. Its more your unwillingness to keep us updated. Even bad news is something.

It takes a fair bit for me to fly off the handle, and I know there have been a few unneccesary comments made in this thread, but thats what happens when you don't keep the group informed......

I hope to hear more from you soon.....good or bad.

Cheers
Peter ;)

Thankyou. This is all these guys needed to know. Before this they knew nothing. As far as they were concerned they were getting ripped off. And as i allow these deals to happen here on outerlimits i felt i was partly to blame.

Please if there are any more delays let these guys know as soon as you know.

Thanks for replying Bazooka. I don't mind the wait, but it is good to know something is happening. And thanks for doing this. Not everything goes according to plan sometimes but it looks like working out ok in the end and thats the main thing for me.

by Snail mail you mean shipped by sea? that takes weeks, sometimes months when dealing with customs etc.

I think I should have made my own twin stick :?

got nothing to do with outers they don't endorse anyone and shouldn't be held accountable for it. I have had no dramas with dealing with people off here. You just have to pick and choose who you deal with and think about what you are buying and where from etc

I know just a bit peeved at this time . It not outers fault i did not mean it that way i thought that being a importer he would be safe as for the other. I should have known not to buy anything off a guy named smileysmoke .No offence meant to OUTERS .Boner

Don't be like that Boner, its faith that keeps things going...

The lack of communication and lengthy delays are understandably causing huge frustration. :bad-words:
Snail mail can take 6 weeks or more so settle back and get comfy, try to forget about this deal and one day the posty might pleasantly surprise you.
I have bought several items from other Outers members without issues.
I've sold a few too!
You have been unlucky but don't give up on all of us. ;)
Smileysmoke.... is that code for 'pothead'?

Finally some news.
Received a little slip in my letterbox this afternoon from the post office to say that there is an international parcel to pick up. It should be what we are all waiting for.
I have addresses for most people so will be sending these out ASAP.
