PS. ISUZUROVER, Can I have the bank details PM'ed to me please.

Pm sent Grimy.

Warren told me, that while he would prefer people to send the low range gears in as well as the intermediate gears, you can measure them yourself if you are 100% sure you can tell the difference.

Low Range Gear Dog Teeth:
2 types - WIDE and NARROW

When looking downwards onto the top of the dog teeth:
Wide Teeth should have flat tips
Wide Teeth should have a root/base thickness of 2.6mm

Narrow teeth should have pointed tips
Root thickness should be <2.6 mm - but Warren didn't give me what the measurement should be.

How are the fellows from AULRO going with this Ben?

I think there is 2 americons  trying to sort out there gear to be sent or source one from here.

Maybe start a list with who was in and who has paid a deposit.

I was first to pay a deposit and also the first to give up and pay retail price.

I have paid the full amount, and the INT gear is already back and ready to go in with the new gear set.

Sorry couldn't wait for the remaining Tyre kickers to cough up. My VC is starting to howl bad now.

I imagine MR will still include me as part of the 10 but I haven't asked.

All the best trying to get it together boys. See ya in the bush.

Ok just to inform you on whats goin on guys. I beleive we have a total of 6 units paid for to date.

buzz66 30% PAID in full cause we were all to slow
Micka 49% PAID
Grimace 49% PAID
jbell 49% PAID
halfshaft 30% PAID
isuzurover 30% PAID
revor 49% - Micka is sorting out payment for this
Matman 30% pulled out
Goldrover 49% bought elsewhere and not included in group buy

I really think we need to get another party or two onboard to put forward some more numbers to Warren at MR (remember initially we needed 10 minimum).

So anyone who is running larger tyres that should be looking at gear reductions should be notified about this group buy and looking to equip thier vehicle with some tcase reduction.

Cmon, remeber your not cool unlees you have one

CDB wrote:Is the deal done on the Maxi-Drive gears?
If not:
Any idea how much to ship to the States?
Could I just buy the gears and install them later without tearing down my t-case now or do the gear mods need a special machining.
I'm new to the forum and was drawn from the D90 list because I need to either lower my RRC diff gear ratios or use the T-case mod and that has some advantages.
Thanks,

Clark

Has anybody heard from CDB about this?

It is your choice man, there is no harm done if you do this, as you will still be counted to make up the numbers.

Unfortunately I can't afford to buy another set to make up the numbers and I can't force anyone else to either.

Dude...really. There is no need for one rolling eyes, let alone two.

Everything is organised. Yes it has taken longer than we all would have hoped, but $1265 is a lot of money to a lot of people.

At this stage we are a couple off the 10 needed. If we can't get the 10, then I have to go back to Warren and see what price changes (hopefully none) happen. To get some idea, 10 sets @ $1265 yields a $12650 sale for them. If we go in at 7 sets then that sale is reduced to $8855.

That is a 30% drop!

Obviously that is far less appealing for them, and not good news for us cause it will bump up the price.

I am going to see them, probably tomorrow morning to see what can be arranged.
