bummer...

Not sure if I'll be in the country... actually, might arrive back the day before from O/S. Might just be able to squeeze in. I'll miss all the lead up activities, but hopefully will be able to get to the main event. hmmmm....

Pretty sure Zach is travelling then though, so have to find a stand in spotter.

Same thing for final of WE Rock - arrive back from O/S the day before, so mad rush to get ready and get up there for the event.

At least the Oct date got me motivated to get my Jeep back together - ready to roll now, just gotta find the time to get out there and go for a run.

I would think half of Yea will be able to point you in the right direction.

Might be an idea to put flyers up in a few windows (pubs, petrol stations, Supermarkets, and leave a couple with the local police...)

If people in the Albury/Wodonga area need directions I can help you out. I know of 10 people at the moment that are interested in going, also in the interest of shared benefit it could be an idea to organize a bus from the area.

So who is up for it :?:
After you all get an ass wooping by the yanks at We Rock, who will be competing at Yea :?:
A quick run down on the stages.
There is 11 stages and 1 BIG BONUS STAGE  at the end.
Stage 1 is an opener that everyone is doing one after another and is a warm up.You then get split into 2 groups and proceed too the real stuff.
After all stages are completed there is a double bonus stage that is split into two obsticles. The first stage is worth -20 points with a 5 min garage too alow for repairs between stages, then proceed too the second half for a -50 point obsticle. This is the catch up stage and isnt compulsory but is kick ass hard (the hardest I have seen).
The terrain is granite rock only and has the most grip I have ever seen (unable too do a burnout, it just launches).
So post up who is gunna be there.

Depending on how my rig and my finances pull up after the fianls i may get there. I might look at leaving my rig in sydney for the three or four weeks after the finals so i have less distance to tow it.

It sounds like its going to be a tuff event.

We will try and get some more pics up but there was only three there when we decided too drive the nuts stages and no pics :? (Me, Mock and Mark) the three M's  . It was cool, 5 to 6 foot drop offs, off camber too around 60 degrees side slope , the crack of death (try driving a crack at 30 degrees up for 20meters and do a hard LH turn up a 5 foot ledge all in a width of 2.5 meters) easy hay  This is where I drove up 5 foot ledges just using my sidewalls. You all are gunna get sick of hearing this but the traction is nuts. My swampers are trashed because of the traction here. Dont believe me just turn up December 10-11. ;)
Now Mock say more than 3 words ( I dare you)
