recently got a 1990 rocky for $300.00. it sat for 3 years. now has a new entire cooling system....radiator...water pump...several hoses....heater core.....themostat and housing
ran rough because the coolant line near the distributor cap leaked liquid into the cap and killed the spark
got all the stuff above fixed and it died like outta gas on the highway. it cranks and has spark but the injectors dont cycle and the fuel pump doesnt come one(it used to come on right away when the ing switch was in "on" position)
so at the moment it is just a display model in my driveway
hope some here can hook me up with advice or parts
Jeff
update it runs now i got a new fuel injection computer and voila it off and running
hey daihatsu rocky guys its me again. i tried to loging as rocky raider but it didnt work so i signed up agian........
i sold that one and got another just today is a "se" no air no tilt no power steering
230,000 on the clock smokes a little but runs good.
needs a antenea and a taillight and some the rear bumper end caps.

Hey all,
im new to the forum and got my roza 2 days ago.
it is completly stockers except maybe the mud i put on it today.....
my wish list is very long but in the next week i am to do a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift. Prchase some 31" tyres, prolly AT. After that (or at the same time) i will be making a snorkel.
Once those projects are completed comes the smaller touches such as setting up a UHF system and upgrading the sterio. Also aim to get some decent spotties and set up some good tow points.

Now I can formaly introduce my self as a Feroza owner.
I bought my brother-in-laws 93 Feroza SXPII with all the bells and whistles that came with it from the factory plus rola roof racks, side steps, cd player, full set of (5) new rubber and recently had a whole new motor put in it. Also has 2" exhaust system (no extractors YET)
All for a bargin basment price of $5K
Just need to get the windows re-tinted, as the current tint is old and faded.
Then some spotties, new full bull bar with fishing rod racks, and hopefully a suspension upgrade and body lift.
The beast
Let the good times roll
My daughter loves riding in it as she can see everything a lot better from her seat. she's nick-named it 'BIG ONE'

G'day all, Ben from Brisbane.
Thought it a good idea to contribute after stalking the forums for the past couple of months while I constructed my ROZA. Nothing too excitng yet but here is the beast as it is now.
1994 daihatsu feroza11 widetrack 5sp manual.
Bull Bar
Side steps
Brand new dents and scratches from latest wheeling.
Reconditioned engine (code for I tore the motor apart and had a good squiz and replaced anything that needed it
Custom stainless snorkel and custom airbox/plumbing from patrol
bfg AT's 235/75/15 on 15x7 sunraysias under neary standard height suspension, about 30mm higher with OME heavy duty shocks F&R, reset rear leafs and torsion bars tickled a little to even things up.
heavy duty clutch.
genie extractors, 2 inch pipe
interior bling, steering wheel, pedals, gear knob, etc (another habit from the turbo skyline days )
Good loud stereo with head unit amp and 12inch Sub in the back to drown out the noise of the missus yelling "You won't make it up that, it's too steep!"
basically everything on it has been refreshed or replaced since bought it last november, always good to rip a car apart to find out about its good and bad points.
Cheers, Ben.

oh i recently bought some tyres that i am very impressed with...trailcutter radial R/T that are not noisy great tread and good for most of everything that i ahve come across, ie clay/mud, rocky escarpment, bitumen, and sand....a friend bought them for his patrol and said he is getting about 80,000 out of thwm and he spends most of his time on shit dirt roads travelling way too fast (he is young) and the inlaws in the same area just paid alot more for SAVA's and he has had two flats already....just a thought paid 650 for 4 newies in cairns so you can get them cheaper down south no doubt...
