Nice photos IB. Those last few in the mud, where abouts were they taken?
Seems coastal by the shrubbery. Looks like a decent place to go for a roll after a heavy downpour.

Very nice... I showed your pics to a lady at work who has the same model Vit, albeit stockers... she's already making a shopping list :D
DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender

I have just read this thread and the little GV turned out awesome!

It looks like after using the coil spacers and strut/shock spacers you would need to also space the bump stops down to prevent the struts/shocks from bottoming?

Is this correct or am i missing something?

Hey guys,
Talk to Fordy1, he's a great guy that can get you anything you need.
He takes the time out to help and even gave me a call when I smashed my front diff to guide me in right direction.
So click on the link above or just PM him on outers.

Hey sorry for the late response
If you can get to the Servo at Freemans Waterhole all you have to do is drive about 1 minutes south and on your right hand side there is a 4WD training park. EA and the RAFB use it for there 4WD training. There's so much out there to do, if you get a chance you should check it out.

Hey Dude!!

I love the work done on the GV ..i in process of doing the same as well ... however i did have one issue the same as you ..how on earth did you sort out the camber issue ..??

Im running 12mm camber bolts but they dont seem to be enuff.ff, another worry is the angle of the lower arm and the cv joints..(i've already installed diff drop brackets) are those angles normal ??

P.s. i any one experiencing and driveline vibration..

Would really appriciate your help .. tx

Top job you've done there.

How do you find those Kuhmo tyres on/off road? Good/bad??? If you don't mind, can I ask how much you paid for them?

I paid $980 for 4 of them and then got the spare later for $280.
They have worn down a little too quick for my liking and as a result from that they have become a little noisy, but nothing too bad. As I've said before they are a great tyre. I'de totally recommend them to anyone. They have pulled me out of some bad shit.

SUZUFOUR Wreckers

The guys there are great. They helped out so much when I needed a new front diff. They have got everything you need in-stock and have the know how as well.

Sad you feel you have to let it go

LOL'd at that "Customiser's Guide" - Item 7 (Snorkel)

"By getting better airflow through the engine, some modifiers claim an extra 20kW can be gained from the engines. The easiest way to do this is with a snorkel and a set of extractors..."

Jeez, is that the reason everyone has them!!! Could do with an extra 20kW on the Zook ;)

Hey Bendev,

You never mentioned how you remedied the camber issue........

I would be interested to know what you came up with.

Hahaha.. man.. now that ive read your article.. im so glad i havent gone through that crap lol.. the steel diff is a good idea.. because no doubt i wouldve broken that later on..

You had lockers in it! What happened to them? Also where can i get a cheap K n N filter for it? I mean i can get one for $110 but SURELY you can buy a Filter cheaper from somwhere these days?

Anyway just came back from FRASER with your car... thoroughly enjoyed it and it hasnt got stuck anywhere yet ... and realistically so it shouldnt.. lol..
