It’s funny you say stuff like that. I have seen pic’s and vids of people struggling to get up upper hellerado waterfall. This includes hi tech buggies way better then Australian buggies. In on of the American mags just recently features a group of zooks wheeling that section. One zook was arb’s lux full body on 33’s wheeled it without help. It was a really basic rig. Spoa and 2â€

RUFF wrote:Are you trying to say this is the most Capable Full Body Zook in the US. Or that Tim is keen to give anything a go. There are so many other zooks built in the US that are as capable if not more that look as clean as.

It may be a cheap build and the guy may be cool and all but you cant honestly say it looks good. Hey i will attemp any line that even looks slightly drivable but i would never let my rig get to this stage.

There are so many other Zooks on Pirate that look unreal and im still yet to see a Zook in Aus that looks nearly as good as most of them.

My own opinion is that Paul Pissani has the best looking Zook in Aus. Which with a little work could easily be the most capable in Aus.

got any pics or specs on this so called truck?

and i dont get wats the obsession with the tim hardy fanatics. sure he pioneered zuks, he's obviously a good mechanic/engineer to make gears and cut splines etc. but today, in 2005, there are so many ways to build a more capable rig. like that cage, would fold in half and crush you if ya fell off a decent rock, i wont go on......

OMG, I'm not building a replica of Tim Hardy, I'm replicating his Zuk. I couldnt give a fark if he could build a nuclear generator out of a coke can. I like the "who gives a f***" attitude of the truck not the owner

Oh and my cage is done and will survive many a rollover...Big thanx to SAM

Only took 3 hours and now I can't fell my hands...

The old redzook is sitting minus roof in the garage

Wont be able to do anymore this week as I gotta pull all the bits off Camski that I have sold

next week I'll get the cage in and bring the motor up from Syd...

In a nutshell , On a budget with care factor Zero .

Put a good driver in a car that owes him nothing in his eyes ,and viola.

But really , what makes it a budget rig ?

I understand and agree with with Dozoor, budget is the effect on wallet, although it was/is costly with the time spent in his head...........although that certainly isn't a bad thing as it be time better spent than focused on playstation...

How many pics of that rig have you seen of it upside down after falling off a decent rock ?? It's been falling off rocks for many years and is still OK .. with the amount of time that trick spends on its side or roof I am sure any inherant weakness's would have shown up by now..

Another part to it as well is that Sawzall and myself have met him. It is his attitude to driving and modifications which are also part of the whole thing

I wheel there most nights of the week :D ... but it gets difficult explaining to my wife why I need to change the sheets each morning ...

Seriously though .. a cross brace would not go astray.

I'm not saying that it wouldn't. It would be a great idea.

Just ppl bagging someone else's shit... even though it gets used the harder then they have ever been.
