Ok not having a go at tony or anyone else BUT i thought that TTC was an event for rego'd cars.

As far as i know the Lockless Monster is a buggy and is not rego'd

But anyway all you other buggy drives seem to be able to enter now
So come on boys Pony Up :D

But maybe this is a one off thing so i dont know?

I am thinking that there is a very good story behind this and i can't wait to hear it.

The rules for scruteneering are quite specific. If Ruff has modified the Lockless to fit within the rules, then all is fine in my opinion... as long as everyone is painted with the same brush, so to speak.

...would seem to me that it would take alot of work to get it up to spec though...

yer with rules like this i cant see how

4.6.13 CHASSIS
The original chassis for that make of vehicle shall be used.

4.6.14 BODY
Body alterations are permissible to a maximum of 50% of the side profile of the original make of vehicle regardless of model.

But anyway we will see how it goes

Or this one:

"In these rules; any reference to State regulations or laws, or roadworthiness in State of registration, will be deemed to be met by the fact that the vehicle is registered.

Registration will be checked by comparing the licence plate number and VIN on the registration label against the licence plate number and VIN on the vehicle"

You will find that the name Lockless Monster is only the name of the team competing. not the vehicle. so dont sweat over it.

Don,t mean to sound sarcastic but , would be good for them to delete at least the
specs on the rigs that havn,t got specs , poor old MMs gears mounted under all of them ! :? They have been there for a while and there isnt even a vehicle make for them yet :?

The Vehicle will use the original Chassie.

The Body profile will not be changed by more than 50% of the original make or model.

You are correct in your Assumption. The Lockless Monster is Currently a Buggy and is Unregistered.

You will not see a buggy competing at TTC

As far as im aware these will be done on Site at the event. I beleive all vehicles will still be looked at but the ones comming from interstate have been advised that they should get a pre-inspection in there state just so they dont travel so far to be told its not up to Scratch.

Just to clarify, the idea behind the prescruitineering check is to ensure amoung other things, that the roll cages are of sufficient strength. Primarily it is to highlight to competitors major work required to pass scruitineering that is best carried out in a workshop well prior to the event. The scruitineering team for the event will carry out pre scruitineering checks for NSW based entrants.

All teams will be scruitineered at the event by the scruitineering team who are obviously not competitors.

No unregistered vehicles will pass scruitineering.

If you are a competitor and are confused please send an email to ronw@tuffevents.com and i will clarify the situation for you.

As previously stated, Sam/Cheezy/etc are NOT doing the scuteneering checks - they are only doing pre-scruteneering for anyone interested, just to make sure that when you get to TTC there are no surprises.

My understanding is that all rigs will be fully/officially scruteneered at the event.
