Dyna truck
Hello
Here is a novel question.Got a 4wd dyna truck without power steering. Will a 45/55 series power steering box fit?It all ready has a hj45 front end. Also just looking at the motor what is the main difference between H and 2H diesel?Still trying to figure out what I have brought.

LETS GO BRONCOS
geez you guys, let this thread die - there's lots of other blokes who know as much or more than I do about toyotas - first SEARCH, then if thay doesn't yield results, post a new topic so everyone get s a stab at it!bad_religion_au wrote:Hey dumbdunce
is the radiator out of a HJ45 the same as an FJ40?
as for the 40s radiators, it will bolt in but I think the spigots are in different places. it's not rocket science to desolder the spigots/drill new holes/patch up, but changing tanks over takes a bit more skillz.

I have put up a new post re fitting a 15bt to a bj73 and I have done a search on this forum and on the net. I have not received the info I need yet.dumbdunce wrote:geez you guys, let this thread die - there's lots of other blokes who know as much or more than I do about toyotas - first SEARCH, then if thay doesn't yield results, post a new topic so everyone get s a stab at it!

Will a power steering box off an 80series fit onto a 60series, i.e. is the bolt pattern the same. If so are the high and low pipes the same fittings or do you need to get them modified.
Will a 80s box give lighter steering than a 60s box.
When in doubt..... UTE-ERIZE it!!!
Re: Stump Dumbdunce - The challenge is on
Ok I am officially stumped. it's taken over 10 years...
1989 60 series rear brakes when assembled rapidly self over adjust until dragging and get very hot. apart and back together several times. everything looks good, but the problem persists. Has had two complete sets of everything put through it. Drums are new. 2 sets of shoes and all springs and adjusters.
there will be a prize.

Have you got the shoes on backwards, ie leading shoe on the front not the back?
My friends aren't holding me back..... I'm pulling 'em forward.

Adjuster winds the shoes into the drum. Also not 60 series, but thanks
For playing.

Find another brand of brake shoes that are manufactured locally and to the original spec out of a locally grown business.
and several thousand k's later thank Dumbdunce for his persistence with logical process and analysis.

The video is only four minutes long. And the music is upbeat. But really, this kind of repair can take all day.dumbdunce wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2016 11:17 pmI missed the bit where he put it all together properly and the selfstilivn wrote:https://youtu.be/3w_X8rN8-Wk-fair-go

There are no prizes for retarded suggestions. Should have put 80 series axles under it.
