Hi,
Pete here from Hobart. Pretty new to the forum but have found heaps of good info here so far. Most of my queries are pretty well covered so I'll probably do more browsing than posting for a while.
We've had the Paj, a 97 LWB, for a few months now... and somehow it got named "Madge" as in rhymes with Paj. Here is Madge in action at a training day recently.

What's with all the yellow in your front end? The pic doesn't zoom well enough to see - is there something there you should tell us about?
Cheers,
Scott
PS Welcome to OL.

New upper control arms with tbar mounts! Nice!
Is this a commercial kit, or a custom job?

Swaddo, the Ford Ranger truck and my Raider are black, the Daihatsu Rocky is actually dark green and I believe that useless mini van is dark charcoal in color. The mini van belonged to some postal official who was poking his nose around for a day or two, they never really say what they are there for other than to "observe".

Hi Dat, welcome to the forum.
That lift looks cool and good on you for importing the kit hopefully more will take the plunge.
We are still working on the 3.15's don't worry, but it will still be several months away.
Scott the IFS lift kit is made in Thailand (a lot of us looked at it) but Dat is the first to actually fit it in the US. It's a genuine 5" lift to allow 35" tyres and relocates the torsion bars to the top control arm.

Thanks Frank
I knew there was a kit available in Thailand, but I hadn't realised it relocated the tbar to the top control arm. Isn't someone in Aus developing something similar?

Well my pos has been off the road for last 3-4 weeks ........finally got the new donk in and what a pita it has been doing this.......
well i put it down to too much bourbon and yaking ...but started the new fit tuesday night and fired it up this morning ...sounds great (small exhaust leak - will fix tonight)
Had the engine rebuilt from top to bottom ...all that is original is bottom end, crank, heads (tested and minor defects fixed - new valvels, etc) and all new everything else (except bolt on bits, ie throttle body, plenum, etc, etc) even new injectors.
AIM motors in dandenong have done a great job (oh and shaved a bit for even more bang - cant wait to run it in later today tonight)
Organised through the Crash N Bash racing - got myself a good price ....
heres a couple of pics (and some little lights for seeing this weekend up in walhala)

and some more ...
the of car with lights has no engine in and thats why the smaller tyres on front .... easier to work on
