Btw - the 8 core design is cool. I am pretty sure I know whose that is...

That looks a very nice drop, my young Navi Marin has a lot to learn when it comes to beer, he's still at the drinking as much as possble stage. But he runs fast, slides down hill on his ass real well and is all round a top bloke and functions well under pressure.

You are correct with regards to the 8 core though, I look farward to seeing some numbers from this. The turbo set up is very impressive.

Hi all...How much weight does the 4 core add to the manifold?

Enough to warrant supporting it by tying it in to the rocket-cover similar to mine so it can not act as a leave. Though this one will be fixed not on rubber dampers like mine.

I understand it is going onto something with multiple turbos, but possible still with a diff at either end of the car.......

Hmmm, sounds like Andy might finally have something on the way for his compound turbo patrol.

We could tell you but we would have to kill you.

Seriously though, I think it is up to the owner to spill the beans if and when he chooses to. He is a member here.

But it is a 4x4 diesel. definitely no drag car.

I agree and I can say it's not Andy, I asked if ****** minded me posting the end plates up. Like ISUZUROVER says it's up to him to spill the beans, my lips are sealed :D

PS it might go like a drag car

I opened it, and found all this:

The pipe in the picture is a 2.5" turbo inlet pipe (for size comparison).

The tubes and end caps are very nicely machined.

Interesting. As a born & bred South Aussie, I was a committed sparkling drinker while I lived in Qld.

Since returning to Adelaide I find myself drinking pale. Which is good, because I don't seem to drink as many, either.

When I go bush I take mild - in cans.

Dropped the 1st 8 core in for Awill4x4 on Wednesday, also had a look at how the TD42 is coming along. Have to say it's going to be a work of art some very complicated shapes are been formed with the use of a CAD program for bending and forming shapes.

Andy at DZLTEC is going to test the new generic 4 core units on his compound twin turbo, slowly winding up the boost so we have a complete range of figures at various PSI. Once they are out of the way Andy's own 8 core intercooler will be fitted the 2nd one to be ordered and then tested.

The 3 variations are ready for welding and fabrication along with the end caps now machined to suit each variation.

More for Awill4x4 :D

Well Awill4x4 is now officially busy :D

Dropped all the current units in for welding. Awill4x4 let me play with the sticky tape too
