have to say i agree with you Pete!
all the tracks were great fun with a real mix of challenges, but yes it would be good to see more "extreme" tracks or bonus lines to seperate the top few trucks.
My favourite of the weekend was the rocky horror, BeeBee drove the last ledges so easy it was stupid. Basically at the bottom i got out to use the spotter strap and as i was untangling it i told him to inch it up the first step, and to my suprise he just kept driving and before i knew it he was on the top slab and i had to chase hime up the hill
Maybe next year swap the Car destroying mud for a artificial rockcrawling course similar to the one at Landcruiser park. It really does make more sense as the vehicles are evolving more towards this style of driving rather than "mud buggies". A lot less punishing on rigs and heaps more entertaining for the crowd. Could even try some purely man made obstacles like in the US
Had and awesome weekend, Dave drove soooooooo well and to end in 5th place was a good result, although if we hadnt tried to winch in the mud we would have got 4th as we were only 20pts from Dobbin.
I think we need bigger tyres or more clearance as the 4 cars in front of us had at least 42"-49" tyres and portals
even our 37" mtr spare was bigger than the boggers. But i cant wait to give it another shot next year, met heaps of top guys (thanks to the custom krawla guys for helping us rewire our burnt out wiring harness
)
