Anyone know of Dobinson C45 309T...1madengineer?
Supposedly they are same spring rate etc as C70 335V

Why do you need to know? are you having a problem? Or are you wanting a heavier or lighter coil then these for you next project?

G'day Shane
Because I want to know, No and Yes.
I'm 99% certain of my current springs but they are showing signs of 'sagging' slightly (rear only). It's not just for 4wd ability but I'm carrying a shyte load of gear for work purposes and towing trailers etc.
I've got 3" LWB 19mm coils (C45-129, 282lb), so i'm sourcing
C70-335 (295 lb/20mm dia), I've just found out that I can also get C45-309T (same as C45-129 'apparently') in rate and height.
Only got some feedback about C70-335 today so want to do some more homework on them before ordering
.
Cheers

I have only ever used the C29-129 coils as a higher 2" lift coil so in my opinion, never going to work for a 3" lift.
The C45-309T must be 331lb because C45-129 are definitely softer.
C45-309T will sit approx 15mm higher then C45-129 and be able to carry probably an extra 400kg then C45-129 without sagging.
We have a heavier coil again then the C45-309T which is C45-325T for loads beyond of 500kg to beyond the legal capacity of your Nissan. Definitely need spring tower bracing with these coils.
If you want a flexy coil the C70-335V would be good for 500kg+ however I am about to design some heavier duty rear 3" lift flexy coils to suit the 300kg to beyond legal loads, if you are interested I can fast track this. The new coils would sit at approximately the same ride height however they would be 1mm thicker in wire diameter.
I am about to start designing some what I am going to call ULTRA FLEXY COILS. These coils will not replace the flexy coils but they will be more flexy. They will cost more and will give about 4 inches of extra flexy then a normal coil, maybe a little more. I will find some Guinea Pigs to do some testing. I probably won't have them on my web site for another 12 months so I can do some testing.
I will be also getting these ULTRA flexy coils made for the front of the 2" lift and 3" lift Patrol to suit the Superflex arms.

Thanks Shane...a lot of info there, you're a legend!
I'll check out some more info on the C45-309T (actually Superior mentioned on this thread that they used 340lb coils...might be these ones?).
I'll only need the above (possible overkill) or will probably go for C70-335
i'd say, plus I'm using the Procomps so it will be a good match up i reckon.
