Any info for spectators? I know a few who want to come up for a look. Cost? Time? There doesn't seem to be any info on the Nightowl site.

Cheers,

Sorry Duncan, I should have been a little more specific :-(

I was after spectator info for the Sunday - isn't that the day the actual comp is run?

Firstly I must apologise to the guys from ORE in Myaree for not thanking them for the prize they donated for first place in my haste and having a bad memory I forgot to thank them at the presentation.

Also need to thank our sponsers WA Diff Centre and One Stop Auto Shop in Succsess also Russell for the loan of the winch .

Thanks to everyone for coming along to either compete or spectate. For those that didnt or couldnt make it you missed out on a great event that ran very well and where everyone had a good time. The course was excellent with winches getting worked overtime as was shown with the tray back from Opposite Lock breaking his winch, carnage for the comp was Russells rolled car, Jeff busted a tie rod, Kelly electrical faults not letting the car start. It was lots of fun bring on the next event.

The next event is a night time event run on the Gymkhana course in the middle of winter so lots of the climbs will be winch only as the surface becomes very slippery with some rain.

For everyone there is a meeting at Alan Cranes house on the 30th of April at 11.00am about helping out to keep the comps running, wanting people to help out on the admin side of things and to run the web page also for the next couple of busy bees so if you have some input please come along instead of posting up as Alan dosent come onto any web sites. He is open to new ideas if he feels that there is value in them.

Start building your cars guys and come and have some fun.

Congratulations to Dave, Duncan, Graham and his winch bitch for your win.

Thanks to Phill and Brian without whom, Cappo and I would not have been able to compete.

We had a great day, roll on the next event.

Was a great day thanks to duncan for letting me drive and good spotting.
Evertything went fairly well too plan a few fuk ups with me drivng  tryin to knock over a few trees and then going to take on another hill that wasnt in the course  couldnt hear the yellin from duncan till i got too the top but all was good.
So for all the pple that bagd the comp ya realy missed out on a great day was something diff and some good fun.

The zooks went realy well greame will be pleased with his performance and the cars ability it was  . Even tho Nathan couldnt make it im sure he will happy for you and will be in the next comp.

Well done to Odin and the CJ for there effort

Tho if steve with the green TJ and another TJ with similar mods had have been in it as a team we may have had a bit of a tussel.

But if there was 2 tjs i would have just had to go a bit more silly  .

Thanks too the Perth4x4 guys who came out and helped marshal the events and to ORE for the sponsoring of the event and the winch for 1st prize also to mine and duncans sponsors  .

Just Would have been good if mike and jeff hadnt done the tie rod so they and steve could have done the course.

Next time guys.

Thanks 2 all the participants for a great day and i can see we will have to up the ante for the next comp as pple will be goin all out to stop the zook team :D

Thanks too all
Dave

The other 3 comps were never in doubt to be run with the next one in 2 months up at Toodjay at night .That comp will be run over the Gymkhana course not the one driven today although Alan may change the course yet with it being in 2 months and if we get rain most of the hill climbs will be much harder than last time the course was run.

For those 4 teams that paid there money then didnt make it ,thats unfortunate as it was a great run .Gavin filed in for Nathan with Graham and was knackerd after we made him run most of the course.

Get your but into gear and get a winch come and compete not sure you will need to self recover for the next 3 comps makeing up the Championship ring Alan to find out.Worst case only one vehicle would need to have one as once the first car is up the second one can be pulled up

Found out from Alan yesterday that the next 3 comps will be run as SINGLE CAR TEAMS self recovery will be decided on at the meeting at the end of the month thats April 30th at 11.00 at Alans home if you have anything to ask please come to that meeting if you can.

Hopefully with it being single car teams more people will come and compete as they dont have to rely on other people.

Can you put a reminder closer to the date.. also where does alan live?

I haven't got a rig, so I could most probably help in other ways.
