As to organising it as I said I am willing to try and get it up and running but the July dates weren't good for me. Anyone else is free to take the reins and try and get it happening but at this stage it is looking unlikely [/quote]

does seem unlikely to happen at this stage , so grimbo take the reins PUT UP A DATE that suits YOU! that way we have someone that can and will organise it , any date is better than no date ! as it stands the possible date of end of july is one week before PUT UP OR SHUT UP !

no big deal , i'll go to both but if it were one or the other id plan to go tothe event that is DEAFFANTLY ON , and im sure others will have to choose either one or the other . Tenderfield might be a long way away but i can prepare for the trip now as i know when it is actually on , and that it is on !

anyway im sure all will work out eventually

one last thing i know nothing of organizing or clubs (only joined one last week) else i would be willing to give it a go , and insurance ? i have no idea whats so ever
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

Ok to organise something like this.

1. get in touch with property owner and find out when its available, what needs to be done to bring a group onto the property, anything else that will need to be organised
2. tell people when and where
3. Get some other people to help organise some of the stuff the owner discussed in point 1
4. Investigate insurance options - best way is to have everyone who is going to join an affiliated club preferably the same one.
5. Confirm two weeks prior that everyone who said they were going are still going
6. Confirm the organised items will be there
7. Confirm with owner
8. A few days before hand re check with everyone
9. Fix your Zuk because something is busted
10. Everyone goes and has a great time
11. Plan next one

haha, holy fu_k rhys, read some shit first! :finger:

this has been the problem with the organisation of this thing the whole way along. one person says" what about problem X and issue Y?", and ten other dudes just cut him off and go "fark, yeah, it's gonna be awesome, can someone tow my car there for me?, is there anything hard enough for my car?, can i stay in a cabin?" atc......

Well grave dig time!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now that my plans have fallen though with TTC I’m looking at an excuse to come over east. I keep tyrying to plan to come over but everytime I do something comes up which prohibits me. But it would be nice If we start planning something I’ll get my ticket early!

So what do people think?

We haven’t got so many Mexicans on here anymore which is a bit upsetting

Gregs zuk on 35 krawlers VS Camozook’s zuk on 37 mtr’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that is what I was thinking.

What got me real excited about the idea was from that link I posted yesterday. Looks awesome to wheel with a group of zooks!

Where, in the rehash, does it mention any location? Unlike some others i do have to work and don't have time to read through 6 pages of posts.

Since you're the "Ultimate" search Nazi  why have you not requested that this thread be moved to trips and tracks? (not that i care)

Its a Zook only thing but thts where the toyota guys post theirs.

I think you're slipping Grimbo, oh and yeah, will your Zook be out of your back yard by then?

Okay five people have now shown interest so I think we will now have to set a committee to get things rolling.

I nominate Grimbo to be president organiser.

Some questions that the committee need to look at:

How many people?
Date?
Cost?
Accomadation?
Insurance?
Activities?
How many days?

i'll be up for it later in the year once my mods are done

as for insurance and shiat. i dont think we should bother running it as an event, just a zuk get together with tag-along runs. or else it'll get bogged down with drama's and never happen

i'm very keen to bring mine over to berridale. it's only about an 1.5hrs for me :D, the only thing that would stop me from coming is work.i have to work two weekends a month and if it was one of those then i would be able to go. i'm keen to lend a hand with some of the organisation.
