Okay, heres an update:

Apparently a mini cyclone has ripped through the park on Friday arvo and semi flooded some of the camping areas near the creek/river. The park (the owners words not mine) is closed to general park users ie people who want to drive the tracks, but no word on the comp as yet.

Yep, some dear friends of mine know the park owners quite well, they were speaking with them this evening, they were told the details of the storm etc and they decided not to go down, seeing as the tracks were closed off due to the rain. Forecast is for more storms tonight, saturday and sunday.

Jamie is going soft if he doesn't flop her at least twice in a single comp.

Anyone got any updates on placings or carnage????

Jamie damaged the steering (just guessing as I couldn't see it properly)..

I got hit by the storm driving out of friday night.. couldn't see 10m in front.. there was landslides covering half the road in some places.. Apparently the storm last night was big also but I slept through it :D

Todays stages were alright.. had some crowd pleasing stuff.. I liked yesterdays 2nd stage better though..

Great weekend! Got back last night :)

Friday night storm was fun, saturday nights was pretty weak. Drive home last night was freaky tho...hellofa lot of rain

Carnage : Cheezy dropped all his gearbox oil (think it was gearbox) and didn't run the last course. Blue zook did it's steering twice. Gonads blew the tyre off the bead and tried the climb on the rim. Rod in the green rover flopped after finishing the course, thottle got stuck. POS blew his rear diff cause it didn't have any oil in it from last XRCC! Taz blew his steering box and spent all night saturday welding and grinding it. Beebee did a clutch change on saturday night. Ruff blew a transfer case.

Placings...no idea, left before the announcments. My money is on Humphey in the Green 40 tho, he drove all courses very very well. It was amazing to watch how much grip his ground hawgs got! I aint go no photos, didn't take the camera.
