not much to show at the mo.its in parts scatered around shed ready for all the undercarriage stuff to be 2pak which fingers crossed will be this sunday.then bolt it back together and start fine tuning the body shape.have driven it around the front lawn a few times before pulling apart.a little top endy in speed so might half one of the chain drive gears for more crawling power.

Did you get your front CV's sorted??

If not, i thought of two options. Use Sierra diff-end assemblies, or rob the CV assemblies out of a ride-on mower that has rear steer.

Cool build!!

nah no drive to front as yet. interesting about the mower set up.might have a look.was thinking of cv joints from steering shafts eventually welded onto end of axels.

its alive and goes like the clappers. the 3 yr wanted to drive it and figured out which pedal makes it go. it hooked up and went dragging me along side as i reached in to the kill switch just as we drove into some trees. tonight the missus jumped in and held it flat and i remember thinking 5hit that moves for a kids toy. with the locked rear end and foot to the floor driving approach made the side of the hilux look extremely tasty but some how she managed to miss it.i think the scream helped. verdict :need to get another sprocket to at least half its speed. just getting into the body now.
