just picked up the shocks... taken the rear seat out and what do you know.. there's no covers over the shocks. Nothing that can be unbolted :/
Looks like i have to go in from underneath... but i dont have ramps. is using the jack on one side safe?
Should i just go somewhere to get them changed?

Well that's different!? I've got the two small metal panels in the floor just next to the wheel arches.
Don't go getting underneath with just a jack supporting it- way too dangerous!!!
Can you get in underneath from the rear and do it that way (without jacking it up?) There isn't much space to undo the top nut, but you should be able to do it?

No chance in hell. Heh. Took it to a mecho's just before.. charged $32.50 to get it up there and change it. Turned out the top bolt on the left shockie was so tight i watched him try to oxy it off.
I reckon i got the trainee though... He managed to melt some of my carpet inside the car itself because of his lack of oxy skills :(
They're on though :p

Holy crap- that's how cars get burnt out!!! Lucky it wasn't the right side - next to the fuel pumps and lines.....
How are they? I'm just about to leave feedback on Ebay.
