For that money, id be intercooling it and tuning to that....gq's run 14 psi with the safari cooler :)

I agree with beretta here.. yes gauge is a few bux, but about 1/30th the cost of an engine rebuild - cheap insurance. Had VDO in GQ, and without waitin, went for VDO in GU too... dont buy cheap shit, or you may as well not buy anything

We use vdo gauges. Temps pre turbo should be no higher than 700c.

We tried my n/a td42 on the dyno with a egt guage in the manifold, it went to 790c and stayed there under full load at 100kmh. It took about 3-4 mins to get that.
