find another way to route your ic and ic pipes..
Thanks mate

I just found out today that my air con would have used a differnet gas to what is used these days and all my seals would have to be changed and looking at roughly $600 to change the seals and then new flexi AC pipe and new dryer maybe and whatever else that needs fixing.. so really not sure if i wanna keep it ..

Rick.
i paid $670 for a new sanden compressor ,all o-rings,tx valve, adaptor, drier and regas. they also had to change the piping because the fittings on the new compressor were different.
Might get a price to fix mine up and i'll decide if it's worth it or not..

:D

I mean $600 can go toawrds more peformance mods

i know plenty of queenslanders that have come down here mid summer and complained about the heat when the actual temp is lower than QLD... tis funny what having the ozone hole almost direct above the state does :P
Most of those "qlders" probably aren't real Qlders. They're probably southerners who've recently moved up here. And constantly whinge about the heat, ...and everything else

You can probably still find a few air con places around that still have the old gas. I had an XF falcon that needed the old gas. Month before I sold it I found a place in Milton that re-gassed the system and worked fine during that time. Guy who bought it loved the fact that it was an XF that had air cond still working. Far as I know it's still good. musta been a little leak.

Hi mate

well i had a look in my engine bay and i did seal off both holes so shit couldn't get inside the air con.

Now i just need to get hole of this old gas so i don't have to replace all my seals fix my compressor putting a wire back in it and also get a new flexi AC hose.

Thanks alot

Rick.

Well any were pask rocky the humindity is so high u feel like ur having a constant shower so no real need LOL

I'm thinking of getting it fixed as long as it doesn't interfer with my intercooler mounting or piping if it does say bye bye :D

Cheers
