I remember visiting Rangie Automotive in Lilydale a few years ago, I think they had heavy duty trailing arms available then.

Bohler 709M, has same or better mechanical properties as 4140, but is much easier (30%) to machine and tools last about 3 times as long.

no sweat thanks bush, i've got a shop machining up the threads. found a place that is supplying 4140 and machining cheaper than bohler were supplying the solid bar to me :roll: go figure :roll:

i think wombat offroad are making stronger ones not 100% if or when but i know they are doing patrol ones
