hey i had a look at work for diagrams and didn't have any, i may be able to make a phone call and get a diagram if needed.
i had a look at the commodore v6 alloytec wiringfor drive by wire and it ain't to complecated, so gen 3 shouldn't be too different.

Cool a bloke from the US sent me there workshop manual for the gen 3
But no Fly by wire either
Must be off the earlier model
Would I need the PIM ?? I think thats what Its called kick pannel passenger side talks to the comp does security & all that other stuff

no you shouldn't need it, you will have to take yor ecu to someone with LS1 suite, or similar software to be able to remove the security and other unused things from the ecu program. budget between $350 to $850 for that.

Try 50 bucks, go into your toolbar and turn VATS off, not hard

You don't need the Powertrain interface module, but thats withoug fly by wire, although i'd still assume the same, need diagrams for a definitive answer

oh ok, we were quoted $850 to disable security and also disable the auto trans controls for a job at work
