yeh, dont think ive seen another one with it black. And saying that, the black on it is starting to get a bit ratty so it probly has been painted

I tried the heat gun trick and it didnt work for me .....the pin stripes just kept on breaking off still in v / small pieces So I asked around and found out about the caramel wheels .....

for large stickers the caramel wheel will be a slowish process ....but wrks

try the heat gun if it works ..... if not caramel wheel it

I suggested the hairdryer for two reasons.
If he didn't have access to a hairdryer based on his first post, then he may not have had access to somewhere to get a heatgun.
Secondly, the heat from a heat gun could well be too much heat and make the job harder rather than easier.
Obviously a heat gun will have more alternative uses.

We get those caramel wheels at work for removing the stickers off of trucks. We use Wurth brand ones, work a treat but I wouldn't want to be paying for them myself at about $45 a pop.

the one I purchased as I said cost about 12 bucks ..but was a no-name brand ....but it still wrked so I can only assume the wurth ones wrk even better ...well ya would want them too LOL

You could also just goto a panel shop, get them to take the sticker off and put on a different colour do some pin stripping.

maybe add some flames, maybe those tru-flames would be the go?

maybe add some air brush art as well.
