At the moment we have 11 confirmed entries. Guys it will be a tough event it will not get any eaiser, SS will be longer more GPS night SS.
Don't forget that there is catering available all week as well as the usual hot showers and flushing toilets. Families and friends are more then welcome to camp with you (as per usual) special park fee's for the full 8 days, please contact Landcruiser Mountain Park to obtain these.

Last year we got a sponsor to help us (Leak Finders) most of our sponsor money this year has gone into the new Truck for 2008.

I spoke to "hercules" a few weeks ago, said he had a job in the mines now? Hit him up for sponsorship!!! lol
Either way, hope you guys get the moolah needed and get into it this year.

Yes that is correct Damo, thinking of taking all the competitors to Movie World that day.
But then again 5SS sounds better.

Arrived on Sunday with "Project Xtreme" and helpers. Started setting up tracks on Monday, now at the end of Tuesday we have set up 15SS, not bad for some oldies plus Charterboat.
All the courses are longer then the 300 mtrs. And much to peoples surprise will need to be winched. No being serious the SS are a nice length and I very much doubt of the 15 we have set up so far that they will be driven in under 7minutes. They all have multi winches in (apart from the daily sprint, which at the moment have been in the 3 plus km mark with no winching involved.
Expect some water this week as the creek have a little bit of H2O in them.
Weather at night has been a bit cool, but days have been very nice.
Look forward to catching up with all the SERIOUS competitors and their supporters this Friday.
All entrants are from Qld and the far North being very well represented.
Food will be available all week for those of us that are too lazy to cook their breakies, lunch & Dinners.
Cheers

Still trying to get ready for departure friday after work, (bloody work always gets in the way) but great to hear that you and the MID LIFE CRISIS made it to the park.
See ya fri.
Duncan
(do NOT give scotty the keys to the new toy. You will regret it. Sorry Charterboat, ............No i'm not!!!!!!
These will be sent to webmaster at end of competition each day & will be up each night or early morning the next day. These reports will include scores (provisional) and all interesting events that happened. The reports will be written by several people over the week and you will be able to get a true prospective of the event, not just mine.
If you want to send a email to any of the competitors please send them to xtremedcm@bigpond.com
If you are here spectating and need to send an email and have your own computer you are more then welcome to try the service that Telstra has set up in the "Command Centre".
All for now. Have a big day tomorrow and the next 11/12 days.
Cheers

These were the brave one's to give Australia's longest full on competition event a go:-
1. Brian Gregg & Michael Ranson
2. Derek Priestly & Paul Espig
3. Jason Wotherspoon & Errold Misso
4. Greg Jackson & Brent Griffin
5. Chris Wood & Andy Massavelli
6. Brett Spratt & Heath Lawson
7. Grant Owers & Craig Wilson
8. Michael Camac & Wil Neilson
9. Kent Battle & Robert McDonald
10. Ashlie Enright & Michael Bowcock
11. Rob Marshall & Anthony Stout
These guys will encounter 44 SS including 4 GPS SS, with many of the long SS having up to 4 winches in them. This year we also have some water to play in. I think we will be again able to give the competitors more driver time behind the wheel then some of the other events, as well as a home base (showers/toilets) with supporters staying with them at a very resonable cost (Say a Family of 4 for under $200 for the week). Catering is also available for those that are a bit lazy over the duration of the EFS XI.
Cheers
