contrary to popular belief, a SOA doesn't gain you a stack of height - what you do get is massively improved articulation, better ride, and loads of under-axle clearance. doing it right means using a flatter spring pack (by resetting your existing, or using 'tired' stocker springs), and consider a front shackle reversal - not essential but further improves approach angle and bump absorbtion.
a properly set up SOA shorty will only sit about 4" over standard, but the offroad benefits go much further than simple clearance.

That looks to me, althought the photos are not very clear, it looks to be a very rare, and seldom seen vehicle in Australia. Toyota produced that ANIMAL for only around 2 or 3 model years, and only 5 exist in Australia.
They are known around Sydney as a "BIG GAY FUN TRUCK" very handy for use as floats in the mardi gras and other homosexual activities, particularly back seat sausage hiding (at least that is rumours I have heard)
The shorty can benefit tremendously from a spring over with a shackle reversal, a few inches of wheelbase and some 60 series diffs. I would have dumbdunce do it for you. But buy my wider diffs to put under it.
Dont call a SWB or MWB cruiser a bundy, or a bundera, im sick of it, they are totally different rigs. If it has the 6cyl 3F ill bet it goes alright!!

I would be there saying make the studs bigger, and make the car longer and wider and install some airlockers, and so on

hey all it needs is a spring over, lockers, and some 37's or bigger. The width and length are just how i like it! BTW you wouldn't just be trying to sell me your axles now eh?

Hey, just spent a couple of days with my45 trying to cheer him up after rolling his 45, and decided to give the rig a rear springover. Looks great, only the front to go now, but that involves a little more money, honey.

Don't think he has a camera, but it looks very cool, mabey even "Ice Cold"
And because its a SWB the angle its on is huge
Now he'll have to reverse over all the tuff bits for clearance

yeah, but i had to adjust the spotties a little, so its fine now. Does anyone know how much (roughly) all the equipment would cost to springover the front also?
