i get a big improvement with PULP in the patrol with the injected V8..... for the equivalent amount of PULP compared to ULP..... i get about 20% more out of it...... when i used to drive it to work.... it cost me about $20 per day for fuel (keep in mind i get about 35/40 litres per 100 in it) when i put PULP in it, i got almost another trip to work out of it..... about 25k's. Makes no difference from 95 to 98..... i guess on mine it boils down to the compression. 98 might make a difference when the hair dryer goes on in the coming couple of months.

Ethanol carries its own oxygen and therefore leans out the mixture there is no doubt it is a good fuel but it is highly corrosive and eats plasitcs, in the U.S. they have E85 which is 85% ethanol but the fuel systems on those vehicles are stainless steel. Our ethanol content is limited as the government has decided that at 10% maximum the fuel system wil last the average life of the vehicle.
