Which dealer, I was ripped?

Actually just check that you are getting the right ECU, I think the VZ Clubby was LS2 and E40 ECU, you need to be sure the vintage is right as LS2 came with both crank/cam sensors depending on the year(24 and 54 teeth) . The E38 is the later ECU that definetly works with the L76 and L98.

About 72mm dia. Hard to get in there with a pair of verniers, so give or take a bit.

As regards the ls76 motors that are available in Australia, do they have the sump in the correct position for fitting into a GQ patrol?

If not are there sumps available that will suit?

Also what exhaust manifolds/ extractors have people used when fitting the ls76 motors to GQ patrols.

Thanks in advence.

The sump should be changed for the truck sump.

About that loom..does that connect the pedal straight to the ECU loom or does it go through a dash loom, did you just make the connection directly? I got mine out of the US as a retrofit kit as it was cheaper than what I was quoted in VIC for all the parts to make it up.

I assume you were asking me??, I have not bought the loom, I will ask tomorrow if the pedal connection is direct to the motor loom or to the dash loom, cause I have no idea
