Nick Id rotate your housing if you haven`t then double check the length.
All we did was rotated my from and lengthed the front shaft more. This is the one thing I was VERY worried about happening at TTC, but it didn`t so all must be cool now. If it does it again but I`ll be tring to get a wrap bar on the front simalar to the one that I have on the rear now.

Square shafts, I don`t like em. why? you ask. I just don`t, Untill i`ve seen one in action and driven with one in I`ll never like em. I`m just set in my ways with some things.

Tractor splines is one thing I will be looking at if I need longer splines. (front only)

ruff its fine

pm dogwalker off pirate for more information very helpful guy

has held up in front of a rig with 38.5x14.5 swampers, and 350 chev, low gears, and he is a member of the pirates of the rubicon club, so he must GET IT at least a little, i think the shaft will be more than sufficient, also, it will provide far more clearance than a standard tailshaft

oh and im sorry i never gave credit for the photo orignally, i wish i had the skills and ability to build stuff that good, but im just too impatient!!

I bought the materials for my square shaft today. 50mm shs 4mm wall with 40mm shs 4mm wall inside. I will be putting a wrap around the end of the female shaft to reduce the chance of it reshaping or the seam splitting. Will also be putting some grease nipples in the outer shaft.

When you say they come standard on small trucks... Do you mean the 6 spline tractor shaft or the triangular?

I didnt say anything about small trucks.Im talking Kenworth Cab overs and most others that size run the same shaft as the pic Bj posted.
