or a 285/75 16 .. is legal on an 8 inch rim .. about a true 33 inches tall or even 315/75's about a true 35 inches tall are speced by the manufactuer as being suitable for an 8 inch rim ..
They may not be as common as some other sizes ... but they are the size people are looking for and they are legal\designed on the largest commonally avaliable rims (16x8)

yeh the manufacturer says they are legal but the tyre and rim assoc of oz say they r not
and that is who decideds whether u get an engineers or not
