4.10 and 4.11 diff centres
Moderator: Micka
Well.. finally found a 4.11 diff centre locally :-)
just fit it tonight and I'm all fixed
There is a difference between 4.10 and 4.11 specially running in a full time 4x4 like a rangie.. unless if you would like a shagged transfer
Cheers for the input guys.. so happy it was an easy fix :-)

Good ta see ya got her sorted cam been wondering how ya went with it my bro has been lookin at the difference between 4.11 and 4.1 for his county as theres not many that do a 4.11 for the sals well not many with a resonable $ tag anyways he was near guna go down your path and run the 4.11 up front and a 4.1 in the rear i told him not to and now your story confirms the problems with a constant set up thanks for shearing your dramas with us all good to see its all sortedV8 Rangie wrote:Well.. finally found a 4.11 diff centre locally :-)

Thanks Lokka
Basically when I had 4.11 on front and 4.10 on rear.. after 5 turns of the tyre it was about 6 inches different
After putting the 4.11 on the rear .. I turned the tyres about 10 times and was within a mm!
can see why it started shaking with centre diff lock in!
Just glad I didn't stuff my transfer in the process
